Community Guidelines
Last updated 30 October 2026
getme is for adults who want genuine connections — dates, friends or just good conversation. These guidelines apply everywhere on getme: profiles, posts, comments and messages.
Be real
Use your own name and recent photos that clearly show you. No impersonation, catfishing, fake ages or misleading profiles. One account per person.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older. Never post anything that sexualises or endangers minors — we report this to authorities.
Respect consent
No unsolicited sexual messages or images. Never share someone’s intimate images or private information without their consent — this can be a crime in Australia and can be reported to eSafety.
No harassment or hate
No bullying, threats, stalking, or content attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or other protected attributes. "No" means no — if someone doesn’t reply or unmatches, move on.
No scams or selling
Don’t ask for money, gift cards or crypto, promote businesses, recruit for schemes or solicit sex work. If anyone asks you for money, report them.
Keep it legal and safe
No violence, illegal drugs, weapons sales, self-harm promotion or other illegal activity.
Nudity and sexual content
Profile photos and posts must not contain nudity or sexually explicit content. Swimwear at the beach is fine; explicit content is not.
How we enforce
Reports are reviewed by our team. Depending on severity we may remove content, issue a warning, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and report serious matters to police or the eSafety Commissioner. You can report any profile, post, comment or conversation from its menu.
